I wanted to give everybody a huge thank you for all of your prayers support and encouragement. I’ve learned so much through this trip and have grown in my faith. I am already ready to go on another trip!
We were able to take part in Angels in the Street Ministry while in the Philippines. Part of the time we went to villages and did presentations. Our presentations normally consisted of songs, puppets, a drama, balloons, and sometimes we used the wordless bracelet as a way to spread the gospel. The children were also able to come to where Angels in the Streets ministry was located and we did more presentations, skits, games and interacted with the children.
We had the privilege to give the children backpacks with school supplies in them and also give them food and drinks while there were at the ministry base.Along with ministering to kids in villages, we also went to a high school and elementary schools.
The last night, the Filipinos had a going away banquet for us. They were very influential this summer and for my life. The joy in their heart, especially in their living circumstances, is incredible! Lastly, their passion for the Lord through their worship was a crazy amazing testimony. It is the coolest thing seeing their worship and see God working in their life, which sparks a fire in my heart to make worship more important.
Through all the the hardships and difficulties during this trip, God has shown me that I truly need to trust and rely on Him. I ALWAYS found myself praying to God for peace and patience. I have heard lots of people say don’t ask for patiences because it’ll bring trials, but I’ve learned that troubles help you grow and learn just as Paul says.
Again I want to say thank you for all your prayers and support! And I honestly encourage each and everyone of you to think about going on a mission trip to see how God can use you and how you may as well have a life changing experience for yourself.
